Some perspective drawings of the basement, here Scott lives in a matchbox under the table at 1 inch tall. The character picks up the matchbox in a cafe when he was 3 foot tall, not knowing it will be his future home. The room is used for storage of unused stuff in boxes, dusty atmosphere with cobwebs dotted around. At this point, Scott has completely given up on life and want's to end it but can not get himself round to do it. He ends up making himself suffer even more with terrible thoughts running through his mind, e.g. how is he going to end it or will he rather let the spider eat him.

The Incredible Shrinking Man - Basement

The Incredible Shrinking Man - Roof Top Cafe
This is the first complete perspective sketch of the Roof top Cafe, which is located on top of a sky scraper in the heart of New York City where Scott was 3 feet tall.
These are the complete digital images of the café from back and front. First, I created the place in SketchUp, chose the best angels and then took it further and finished it in Photoshop for better effect.
